FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
You don’t need to come in with experience or know how to pose. I’ll guide you through everything in a way that feels natural and relaxed. My sessions are slow and intentional so there’s no pressure to perform, just space to show up as yourself. We’ll talk beforehand so you feel prepared and comfortable going into it.
Are the travel and studio expenses included in your packages?
Travel fees are at a rate of $0.75/km. If your session takes place in a studio (The Study Studios or The Gallery), then the travel fee will be waived. I’ll always walk you through the options beforehand so there are no surprises.
Can you recommend any good locations for the photoshoot?
Yes, I have a list of favorite spots in and around Calgary depending on the look and feel you’re going for. Whether you want something natural, minimal, urban, or more private, I’ll help you choose a location that suits your session and your story.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
We’ll keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If the weather isn’t looking good, I’m always happy to reschedule or move the shoot to an indoor or studio location. I want you to feel comfortable and get the best experience possible.
